UFC Middleweight Champion Dric Du Plessis is one of the current longest ruling champions in the promotion and he is full of praise for one of the other current champions.
In just a few weeks, Dricus du Plessis will defend his 185 pound title for the third time when he takes on Khamzat Chimaev in the UFC 319 Main Event in Chicago.
Prior to their collision, UFC legend Din Thomas claimed that Chimaev won the title of du Plessis, would be a 'disaster' for the sport despite his clear star power.
Before 'Borz' realizes his success as UFC champion, he must pass 'Stillnocks' that is one of the most unique champions ever.

Du plessis at which champion he thinks is the most dominant
Despite the fact that it only became the middleweight champion early last year, the South African is one of the longest ruling current champions in the promotion.
And although he has received a lot of criticism for his fighting style over the years and what a lack of cardio seemed, Du Plessis has become one of the most difficult puzzles to crack in sport.
And for his collision against Chimaev on August 16, 'Still Knocks' revealed who he thinks is the most dominant champion in the sport and who he thinks they rule over their division for a long time'.
“(Tom Aspinall) is incredible, it's pretty easy, you know, the first time you saw, he also made his debut on my debut card, the first time you saw Tom Aspinall -Vecht, did you know that there was something special,” Du Plessis told Betway.
“He is almost the next generation of heavyweights, in my opinion, where he moves like a middleweight, he is light at his feet, he can struggle, he can struggle, he can struggle, so I am really happy for him, I think he will be a great champion and I think he will be a champion for a long time.
“I don't think there are many heavyweights at his level now, he is a great guy … He will be a great champion,” Du Plessis continued.
Tom Aspinall and Du Plessis had their emergence in the promotion in the same era and now both rule side by side in their respective departments.
Du Plessis is also lyrical about Ilia Topuria
The South African has also praised the current lightweight champion Ilia Topuria, who, according to him, is a guaranteed future UFC Hall of Famer.
“We made our debut on the same fighting card, he was in my dressing room, we were on the same route and won our titles for a month. He is one of those special characters that will undoubtedly become a Hall of Famer,” said Du Plessis.
