Prior to his middleweight title defense on UFC 319, Dricus du Plessis sent a warning by one of his greatest rivals.
In just over a week, the Premier promotion returns to Chicago for UFC 319, at the head a middleweight title fight between Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev.
The fight has long been due to the fact that 'Still Knocks' was asked to fight against Chimaev after his UFC 305 title defense against Israel Adesanya, but visa problems delayed the struggle to happen earlier.
And with their fight just around the corner, the South African has sent a warning by former UFC champion Welterweight Belal Muhammad.

Du Plessis sent warning by Belal Muhammad while the feud continues
Since his debut in the promotion, Du Plessis has been considered a pretty controversial hunter because of his personality and extremely unique fighting style.
And at the time he argued with various stars in the promotion, including former 170 pounds, “remind me the name” Muhammad.
When Muhammad ruled over the Welterweight division, he constantly hinted on a future moving to the middleweight to adopt 'Stillnocks', which ignited their feud.
When Muhammad lost his title to Jack della Maddalena on UFC 315, Du Plessis trolled him soon afterwards and he got his own back on the Chicagoan.
Despite the fact that he has lost his title earlier this year, Muhammad offered having a quench to fight the winner of Du Plessis vs Chimaev, which is extremely unlikely.
And with the fight that takes place in the hometown of Mohammed, he will probably be present during the event and has sent Du Plessis a warning message.
“Bro, this is my city, it is a large card next week, a huge main event, if you need something in chicago, food, groceries, therapists, cage, gym, sauna – make sure you don't save me, you are not welcome here,” Muhammad said in a video on his YouTube channel.
“Chicago, when you see him, let him know that we don't like his kind. Go Khamzat,” the former champion continued.
Will Belal Muhammad move a maximum of 185 pounds?
After he had put his name in the hat to fight the winner, Muhammad may intend to go to the middle weight permanently, especially after losing his title earlier this year.
But before he is considered for a title fight, he will probably first have to beat different middleweight contenders, where there are other contenders in the queue for him.
