On Tuesday, Dana White jumped on Instagram to announce a lot of fighting news.
The UFC CEO confirmed that Islam Makhachev would leave its lightweight title, which will be at stake when Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira collide on UFC 317 on UFC 317 on 28 June.
Dana White also revealed the date and location for Dricus du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev.

Dricus Du Plessis responds to Khamzat Chimaev Fight News
A collision of the middleweight title between Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev has been on the table for years.
Two weeks ago, Dana White confirmed that the fight was done after injury rumors about 'DDP' started to circulate online.
Now he has revealed that Du Plessis vs Chimaev UFC 319 will headline, which takes place in the United Center in Chicago on August 16.
On Wednesday morning the champion of 185 pounds went to his Instagram story to respond to the news.
“Prepare to be surprised,” Du Plessis wrote next to a photo of him in the sports training.
Khamzat Chimaev stays still
In contrast to his opponent, Chimaev easily responded to the UFC 319 news by sharing a fight poster with a Shush -Moji.
'Borz' has not fought anymore since Robert Whittaker's face in October in October a followed choke on UFC 308.
The perfect 14-0 record of Chimaev includes big victories over Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns.
UFC 319, however, is the first time that he is challenged for the largest price of MMA.
