Dricus Du Plessis finally has rumors about the fact that he was seriously injured.
The UFC Middleweight Champion was expected to defend his belt on UFC 317 on 28 June.
Veteran MMA journalist Kevin Iole recently claimed that Dricus du Plessis was injured and is therefore unable to face the 14-0 Russian competition Khamzat Chimaev during the 13th annual International Fight Week.
Caio Borralho then claimed that 'DDP' had broken his shin and could be offside for six months.

Dricus Du Plessis closes injuries rumors
On Thursday, Du Plessis insisted that he was fit, well and ready to fight while he had broken down injuries.
“Okey so everyone had their opinion and rumors and stories about a tibia break and injuries, etc.” He wrote on Instagram.
“I thought it was all very entertaining, unfortunately none of that is true and @UFC already discussed a fight date and opponent, the June fight was never signed that I had not withdrawn a fight.
“I am the champion I know when I fight like a competition, just show up when we tell you.
“Klondiging of the fighting announcement, stay informed quickly. 🇿🇦 #prparetoweamazed #stillknocks.”

Du Plessis seems to have excluded himself from fighting on UFC 317 in two months.
What is expected to be the largest map of the year is now left without an obvious headliner.

The participation of Ilia Topuira at the UFC 317 seems to be adjusted after he recently announced that his Vechtkamp has begun in the midst of rumors that he will compete in a form of lightweight title competition.
The opponent of the former featherweight champion will be Islam Makhachev or Charles Oliveira.
“As discussed today in the show, Ilia will fight on June 28,” tweeted Ariel Helwani earlier this week.
“The question is, will it be against Islam for the 155 belt, or will it be against Charles for the vacant?
“We should know quickly. But he should be 100% there and he has to fight 100% for gold.”
