Dricus Du Plessis is only a few weeks from demonstrably the most difficult test of his entire career to date.
On August 16, Dricus Du Plessis seems to successfully defend his middleweight title for the third time when he takes on Khamzat Chimaev in the UFC 319 Main Event in Chicago.
Du Plessis last February for the last time to go into the Octagon when he remedied Sean Strickland to finally put an end to their rivalry at UFC 312 and scored the unanimous decision gain.
Although Chimaev is generally considered the favorite of the majority of the UFC fan base, Du Plessis has received heavy support from various active hunters and legends of the sport.

With that, the teammate of the South African, Mark Hulme believes that 'Stillnocks' will finish the Chechense within the first three rounds, that is when Chimaev is considered his most dangerous.
“Dricus finishes him less among the three. I (Chimaev) cannot see more than three. He will come out and burn himself (off),” Hulme told Talksport.
“I don't think people have seen the size of Dricus' struggling, and if I know him, it is that he has a point to prove. If people think that Khamzat is the man to struggle, he can just hold him off and his head up his head,” Hulme continued.
One of the greatest UFC hunters of all time Khabib Nurmagomedov has given his advice to Chimaev and says he believes in his striking rather than burning himself to struggle early.

Although Chimaev is one of the biggest current stars in sport, he has been extremely inactive in recent years due to many factors.
And because of Chimaev's earlier tendencies to withdraw from fighting, Din Thomas claimed that it would be a disaster for the sport if he won the title.
