The teammate of Dricus Du Plessis, Cameron Saaiman, has sustained a brutal KO in UFC Kansas City this Saturday.
UFC Middleweight Champion Dric Du Plessis is a main subject of conversation in the UFC last week, after rumors started to circulate about a possible injury.
And with that, fans feared that his likely title fight against Khamzat Chimaev was gone while 'Borz' teased online that he would be out for a while.
The South African champion broke his silence and rumors a few days ago that he has an injury with him and declares that he will then defend his title against Chimaev.
Although 'Stillknocks' has not been in action since last January, his teammate Cameron Saaiman was part of a stacked UFC Kansas City Fight Night on Saturday.

Cameron Saaiman suffers a brutal one-punch face plant Ko
After his success in the Contender Series of Dana White and his subsequent three-fighter wintreak in his debut onions, Cameron Saaiman was emphasized as a potential future champion at Bantam weight.
Nevertheless, Du Plessis's teammate lost two fights in a row on disappointing fashion and took him a few steps back.
He was then linked to the promotional newcomer Malcolm Wellmaker in UFC Kansas City on Saturday hoping to return to the Win -Kolom.
Wellmaker came in with an unbeaten record, which he had also earned his contract from the Contender Series and was emphasized as a large knockout threat at 135 pounds.
And the 30-year-old showed his terrifying KO force in the fight for two minutes when he landed a huge right hook on the chin of Saaiman, which stood on the ground and the canvas with facial planting.
Saaiman can be cut from UFC after losing UFC Kansas City
Unfortunately for the South African Bantamweight, this now marks his third loss in a row and he is now in danger of being cut out of the promotion.
The Bantam weight division is one of the deepest in the promotion, and it is different from the UFC in recent years to keep hunters around after disappointing losing stripes.
Nevertheless, Saaiman is still only 24 years old and there is a great opportunity that he could find himself in the promotion, if this marks the end of his current Stint under the UFC banner.
