Denzel Dumfries offered two assists to reach the semi-final of the Champions League after a dramatic confrontation on the second leg with Barcelona in San Siro finished 4-3 for the hosts.
A 3-3 draw in the first stage in Montjuic set the stage for another thriller, with Davide Frattesi Inter's place in the final with an extra-time winner.
Dumfries founded Lautaro Martinez for the opener for 21 minutes, while Hakan Calhanoglu calmly doubled the lead of Inter from the penalty spot on the break.
Barcelona fought back in the second half through goals from Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo to level the draw, and then took a late lead when Yann Sommer immediately parried Raphinha's first attempt, causing the Brazilian to cool in the bottom corner.
A raw end of the game saw Dumfries Teen Francesco Acerbi late to force extra time, while Fratesi yielded the winner in the 99th minute when Inter continued to their sixth European cup final.
Since the arrival of manager Simone Inzaghi in 2021, the Nerazzurri are one of only two teams, together with Real Madrid, to reach the Champions League final more than once, after being lost in Manchester City in 2023.
After the game, Dumfries spoke with Amazon Prime and proudly expressed the way his side of the draw moisture.
“It was another crazy match, seven goals [on Tuesday]. It was incredible, “said the Dutchman.
“We fought to the end and very proud of the way we fought today. In general, I am very happy that we are going to the final.
“I am very happy to help the team. I came back from an injury, so it wasn't easy. But we have to fight every game for the colors of the club.”
Dumfries added to the Inzaghi manager: “He is a great manager. Since I arrived, he has been doing very good things for the team. In general it is great things. Now we are going [to Munich] To win. “
