Dustin Poirier goes off on old UFC rival Michael Chandler: ‘He’s a cheater’

Dustin Poirier does not leave Michael Chandler off the hook, because he has again branded him a 'cheater' in a recent statement.

Poirier and Chandler met in the cage at UFC 281 in 2022. They waged a bloody war that Poirier Chandler saw subjects with a second -round choke in the third round. The fight had momentum fluctuations in favor of both hunters, but the hostility did not end with the last bell, where Poirier and Chandler seemed to exchange.

'The Diamond' claimed that 'Iron Mike' was a dirty hunter, and he still maintains this feeling.

'He is fake' … Dustin Poirier Blasts 'Cheater' Michael Chandler

Poirier spoke on the Outta bag with RGIII and revealed the annoying details of his fight with Chandler. The Louisiana hunter could not hide his contempt for his former opponent.

“With my personal experience he is fake, man,” Poirier noted. “. . . And he is a cheater! I could continue for days, I am so strengthened about this. He does all kinds of things, man. The blood blows into my eyes after I break his nose – that's cool, I did that before, I admitted it afterwards.

“And then Chandler, I brought it up and he said he didn't do it! Like just admitting, Bro, you're so fake. Then he stuck his fingers in my mouth to lift my neck for a second -one choke, right? . . . Bro, I bite his fingers so hard. . . . If I didn't have a mouth watch on my upper teeth [I might have bitten his fingers off.]”

Since their fight, Poirier has gone 1-2 in the Octagon, while Chandler Winless is.

Michael Chandler bends the rules in his UFC fights

Chandler's mistakes are not exiled to his fight with Poirier; The Missouri wrestler was guilty of some gross moments in his other UFC competitions.

Against Justin Gaethje at UFC 288, Chandler wiped to Gaethje's eyes after a right hand. Referee Mike Beltran called a stop to the promotion, but resumed it almost immediately. Gaethje rumbled with Beltran's decision after the fight.

Chandler was guilty of the fish hooks, as mentioned earlier, and blowed bloody snot in the face of Poirier, the latter of which is considered unsporting behavior in the uniform rules of MMA. He also legs the head hand and the face of Poirier with vast fingers, which is another mistake.

In his UFC 309 Rematch with Charles Oliveira, Chandler held the top of the cage to change the result of a Takedown. In the fifth round, after having landed a good right hand, Chandler framed the face of Oliveira with fingers vast and Oliveira poked. Moments later, he landed many strikes on the back of Oliveira's head and almost assured a TKO finish despite referee Keith Peterson who stood away.
