Barcelona has recommended a number of their players this summer for a move, and a few more than Fermin Lopez. Perhaps that has been done with the assumption that he would not be a guaranteed starter this season and had many potential lovers on the transfer market.
Lopez, 22, Deputte Good for Dani Olmo in last season's final phase when the latest injuries fought, to the point where some people wondered if he might not be a better choice behind the striker. In particular, Hansi Flick has spoken strongly about La Masia product.
According to Sport, Manchester United and Chelsea were willing to close deals for Lopez this summer, and previously in the summer, negotiations with the Catalan giants. Under the hierarchy there was no shortage of people in the hierarchy who were willing to do business for Lopez. The move is said to have solved their current problems with salary limit this summer, with three players who still have to be registered before the end of the window.
The Catalan daily say that the offers caused 'intense debate' in the club, and although Lopez was not going to leave, the hierarchy felt that he could be bumped into a movement.
No matter how Flick was that he wanted Lopez to stay and persuaded the club to reject both offers. His feeling was that Fermin has been set for an important role this season, and he accepted that it could not accept the offer that I would not receive any further reinforcements.
Lopez has been associated with an exit in each of the last three summers; Initially as a recurring loans that may not play a role, secondly as a surplus of requirements, and ultimately as a way to bring a great fee this summer. However, if his current process continues, Flick will find it increasingly difficult to leave Lopez out as his influence and impact grows.
