Summer Signing Tijjani Reijnders scored a brace for Manchester City in their friendly victory against Palermo, but fans noted that something was not quite right with his name on the back of his shirt.
City wrongly referred to the midfielder as 'Reijinders', who adds an extra 'i', in which some fans admitted that they have made a similar mistake.
A fan wrote: “I'm not even going to call the club for the spelling of Reijnders wrong on the back of his shirt, I make the same mistake.”
Another added: 'Reijnders will be something special for us this season. With a bit of luck, they can soon be spelled on his shirt '.
Moreover, another wrote: “Mate, I saw this and thought I had spelled his name all the time.”
Dutch international Reijners came to City from AC Milan in June when he signed a five -year -old deal in a relocation of £ 46.5 million.
He has already played competitive for City as he could be seen at the Club World Cup.
