Eddie Hearn drops Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua bombshell update as Turki Alalshikh enters talks

A fight between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua could be on the horizon, because the most influential figure of Boxing has now entered into the conversations.

A few weeks ago, Jake Paul returned to the boxing ring for the first time since his controversial victory over Mike Tyson when he got it against Julio Cesar Chavez JR in Anaheim.

'The Problem Child' was confronted with a choir of angry after he had picked up the unanimous decision victory on the former WBC champion WBC, and came a step closer to his goal to become a champion.

And looking for his next fight, during his interview after the fight, Paul proclaimed several big names, with former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua one of them.

Eddie Hearn Drops Big Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua Update

The 28-year-old successfully landed a place in the top 15 of the Cruiserweight ranking with his victory, in which he became number 14.

After his fight, he went to Cruiserweight champion Zurdo Ramirez, possibly a fight with the Mexican, but it seems that conversations are progressing for a fight against Joshua.

Eddie Hearn and Paul have traditionally not had the biggest relationships, but the boxing promoter of the matchroom was surprisingly stated that he would be open to the potential of that fight.

And in a recent update, Hearn dropped the bomb that the most influential figure of Boxing Turki Alalshikh is now part of the conversations and the fight is trending in a positive way.

'The Problem Child' met Alalshikh last week, apparently in an attempt to solve their relationship, and according to Hearn, Turki now wants to see Paul vs Joshua happen.

“Yes (there have been discussions), I was with his Excellency yesterday, he had met Jake Paul of course, I think he would like to do it, you know, but it is crazy enough to happen,” Hearn told Pro Boxing fans.

“It is not something we expected, it is not something we focus on, if it is offered to us, I would be shocked if AJ didn't accept it, why wouldn't you?

“The plan for us is to fight Tyson Fury next year, if we can bring Jake Paul on the road and you want AJ to end this entire process, he will be happy to do it,” Hearn continued.

Anthony Joshua is silent about potential Jake Paul Fight

Although the former heavyweight champion continues to focus on a fight against Tyson Fury, a collision against Paul would undoubtedly pay him astronomical amounts of money.

Nevertheless, the 35-year-old has remained silent about a fight against Paul and has not commented on his position on that fight.
