Eddie Hearn has told Conor McGregor he's in for a tougher night than he thinks when he faces one of YouTube's most infamous boxers.
Over the past month there have been reports of a possible fight between McGregor and Logan Paul, and possibly his brother Jake as well. However, the name that seems to have attracted the most attention on social media is KSI, who runs the infamous Prime brand with Logan.
KSI has boxed eight times, including two fights with older brother Paul, which he drew and won. Most recently he went the distance with Tommy Fury, losing a close decision and was set to return to the ring last year before withdrawing with injury.
KSI is emerging as a potential candidate to fight Conor McGregor
The first reports of Conor McGregor's return to the boxing ring pitted him against the eldest of the Paul brothers. However, with Logan's insistence that he dedicate his life to WWE, talks turned towards a new opponent, with KSI being the most logical next choice.
The matchup makes the most sense of the three being organized as an athletics competition; KSI has fought up to 175 pounds, while Jake just fought at 227 pounds and Logan walks around the same way. McGregor has also called out KSI a number of times, and they even once filmed a YouTube video together.
As such, social media was abuzz when KSI tweeted that a possible meeting with McGregor was “not rumours,” and that he was “very down.”
Eddie Hearn warns Conor McGregor about the dangers of KSI in the ring
One man who knows KSI all too well is Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn. The famous promoter made his professional debut; a rematch of his white-collar fight with Logan Paul, in 2019.
Hearn also has a good relationship with McGregor, who sponsors a number of Matchroom events and has made numerous ringside appearances. But he is unsure if he will be able to deal with the Briton's clumsy style, which makes him a difficult opponent for fighters whose skills must be well out of his league.

“I don't know,” Hearn replied when Bloody Elbow asked in an exclusive chat who he thinks will win the fight. “The thing is, KSI has terrible style. Conor has boxed before, but at the same time you saw in the Tommy Fury fight that KSI has a style that is very difficult to get hold of.
“So it's always going to be a messy, messy fight. So I don't know, who knows what's going to happen in that crazy, crazy world? But good luck to everyone.”
KSI's promoter is in talks for the Conor McGregor fight
While Dana White has dismissed the idea of McGregor fighting KSI or Paul, Misfits Boxing boss Mams Taylor says serious negotiations are underway.
“Conversations are happening and conversations lead to more conversations,” he told TalkSPORT this week. 'I know he's interested in a fact. I don't think any fight makes more sense than this fight for Conor. He was truly incredible in the days he fought Jose Aldo.

“He's a tough guy, he's a tough challenge for anyone and I think with the back and forth it makes sense. I think this will break records and be in the top five best-selling pay-per-views of all time.
“I think all parties are motivated by what it can do, they can both sell. There is also an underlying respect and contempt. I think it will be a huge, huge fight and I can't think of a fight that would be bigger in terms of numbers for Conor.”
