Eddie Howe drops huge Alexander Isak transfer hint and it’s good news for Liverpool

Alexander Isak's future remains unresolved while he insists on a move to Liverpool and trains away from the first team team of Newcastle United prior to their opening Premier League match

Newcastle is forced to confront life without star -striker Alexander Isak while they are preparing to accept Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend. Eddie Howe has acknowledged that his side 'must find a way' without the services of the Swede, who can poke the ears of those who are associated with Liverpool.

Isak continues to train the first team team of Newcastle while trying to push a transfer to the side of Arne Slot. The attacker is not available for the first game of the season on Saturday and does not seem to be intended to re -represent Newcastle.

The 25-year-old missed the pre-season tour of the Magpies through Asia and spent time training on the base of the former club Real Sociedad. Liverpool has seen their efforts so far, hit back and is not going to return with another offer for Isak unless encouraged to do this.

However, ISAK has not yet given up an exit, even though he has three years on his contract in St James' Park. The attacker could be fined in the coming days of his constant absence.

Newcastle -Baas Howe has admitted that the situation has disturbed its side. The head coach of the ex-Bournemouth admitted that Isak is not available, leaves a considerable gap in the team.

“I don't think it's healthy for us,” said Howe. “I don't deny that that has been a big challenge.

“Alex, for me, is one of the best strikers in the world – if not the best. Missing him of your team, leaves a huge gap.”

“I think it was certainly struck for morals early during the preseason,” he added. “There was nothing I could do to influence that – it would always be there.

“If you have a player who is so good who is not part of your group, it is difficult for the players to fully understand and know what is going on and how to respond.

“But as time passes, there has been an acceptance, this is the team and we have to get the best out of the situation. That has always been my line of thought.

“In whatever situation you are, you have to find a way and you can only determine what you can control. We have improved and I have to say that the atmosphere of the group has been very good in recent weeks.”
