Belal Muhammad has taken offense with comments made by Kamaru Usman in the aftermath of UFC 311.
Muhammad is the current UFC welterweight champion, while Usman is on a three-fight losing streak. However, this has not stopped 'The Nigerian Nightmare' from commenting on a possible match between Mohammed and lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.
On his Pound 4 Pound podcast on January 20, Usman said Makhachev should step up to take Mohammed's belt, dismissing the Brotherhood's narrative that Makhachev claims it prevents him from fighting Mohammed.
It's safe to say Mohammed wasn't happy with the comments.

Belal Muhammad slams Kamaru Usman, tells him to break losing streak and rename his podcast
In response to Usman's comments about X, Mohammed ordered him to “stop saying my name” before bashing his losing streak and podcast branding choice.
“Stop saying my name until you finally end your losing streak,” Mohammed wrote. “Or you change the name of the podcast to 'loss after loss'.”

There is a world where Mohammed and Usman fight. While Usman is on a three-fight skid, only two have been at welterweight, both against Leon Edwards in title fights. Until then, Usman will have to fight his way into the title picture.
Belal Muhammad doubles Kamaru Usman's roast
In the same X-thread where Mohammed replied to Usman, a fan commented on Usman's absence from UFC 311, where Mohammed was in attendance.
'My boy [Muhammad] at least was at UFC 311,” they wrote. 'Where was Usman?'
Mohammed responded with another comment about Usman, referencing their unreleased podcast episode in which Mohammed allegedly pissed off Usman and almost fought on set.
“He can't go to events in front of me anymore because I'll make him cry again,” Mohammed replied.
Neither Mohammed nor Usman have any fighting news. Mohammed is expected to face Shavkat Rakhmonov this year, and a loss would certainly put him in a position to take on Usman.
