It has not been the easiest first season for Endrick Felipe in Real Madrid, with opportunities there are little in between for the talented Brazilian teenager, who makes his long -awaited move to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer.
Endrick has made 28 performances for Real Madrid this season, but the cast -majority of it came as a replacement. Nevertheless, he has still succeeded in scoring six goals in all competitions.
The lack of fame of Endrick at Real Madrid has led to speculation about a possible loan room in the summer, and although the club is not considering it at this stage, the player could do this himself if it means that he has a better chance to record in the Brazilian team for the World Cup 2026, as he unveiled during a recent interview).
“The truth is that I am very afraid not to be in the World Cup. I have that fear. Because it is a dream of mine. It's hard to say, because I want to be at the World Cup and help Brazil to help win their sixth title. When I play, I can show my level in the national team. I can be in the national team next year and win the world covering.”
Endrick was called by Brazil for the current international break, but only as a late inclusion after the withdrawal of Neymar Junior. And the 18-year-old also revealed that this season he found it difficult in Real Madrid because of his lack of opportunities.
“It is of course difficult to be at the largest club in the world, with the best players, and not to have the chance to always play.”
It is unclear whether Endrick gets more opportunities from Carlo Ancelotti between now and the end of the season, but if not, it would be no surprise to see the striker insist on a loan movement in the summer to play regularly.
