England boss Tuchel expecting high temperatures to test players at 2026 WC

From this month, English coach Thomas Tuchel will attend the FIFA's Club World Cup to observe how players deal with the expected warm and humid weather conditions.

Next year's World Cup, which takes place in the United States, Canada and Mexico, could be one of the most popular in the history of the tournament.

“It is important to see competitions in America now, and in Miami at three in the afternoon,” Tuchel said, preparing his team for their world cup qualification against Andorra in Barcelona.

“I will see. What it looks like, and we have to understand how we can reject the players, to drink; what our options are.”

England is the top of the qualification group K and almost certain to qualify for next year's tournament, where they are among the favorites for the title.

But Tuchel says that the conditions will be hard.

“Let's look, because it is after the season, so it will be very similar. The actual experience is for the players, but I have done there for the season in Orlando, and I will be very surprised if we don't suffer,” he said.

“Suffering is one of the headlines for this World Cup.”

England reaches the Andorra game in the Spanish city of Girona and uses warmth tents to test the reaction and repair of the players for training in heat and humidity.

Sixteen stadiums will be used at the World Cup of next year, with predictions of potentially extreme temperatures.

In Dallas, one of the guest cities, in an average year, more than 80% of June and July days more than 28 degrees Celsius.

A study led by Brunel University showed that, according to the 20 -year analysis, 14 of the 16 host stages in June and July, 28 degrees Celsius daily would be at the top of Celsius, with four probably 32 degrees in a hotter than usual summer.

FIFPRO, the World Players' Union, recommends that if there is a wet bulb temperature between 28-32 degrees, cooling breaks around 30th and 75 minutes must take place.

It says that if there is a WBGT of more than 32 degrees, training and competitions must be moved.
