England call up THREE U21s stars to train with Thomas Tuchel’s senior team – as injured Cole Palmer remains with Chelsea

England called on three stars under the age of 21 to train with the senior team on Tuesday while Thomas Tuchel is looking at the next generation.

Tuchel's first English team was top-heavy in experience, including people like Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford and then Burn, while he is preparing for next year's world cup.

The German has a 18 -month contract and his priority has to come in and win a trophy, instead of blood young people for the future.

But in a surprising movement, Tuchel Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Adam Wharton and Liam Delap called for some afternoon training in St George's Park.

Harwood-Bellis and Wharton both received caps last year, but Ipswich striker Delap, who scored 10 goals this season, only played at the U21S level.

In the meantime, Cole Palmer was absent from the training because he remains in Chelsea to be rated on a muscle injury.

Palmer sustained the injury in the training on Saturday and was omitted from the Chelsesa team that lost 1-0 to Arsenal on Sunday.

He had a scan on Monday to clarify how long he will be absent, although Chelsea has not yet announced the results.

He has not yet officially withdrawn from the team of England and in a statement the blues seemed to open the opportunity that he could still join his international teammates.

“Cole Palmer stayed near Chelsea instead of joining the team of England after the injury he sustained on Saturday,” the club wrote.

“The 22-year-old has yet to join the Three Lions team as a result of the (World Cup qualifying) games against Albania and Latvia.”

Palmer, who scored in the lost Euro 2024 final against Spain, is one of the young players who are expected to play under Tuchel, even if he is more generally for experience.

The recording of Henderson was the biggest surprise when the first team of Tuchel when the England manager was unveiled at 9 am on Friday morning.

The former Liverpool star has not played for England since November 2023, after he moved to Saudi Arabia and then moved to Ajax.

“I think his career and the way he now plays and imposes himself on Ajax is just that impressive,” Tuchel said.

'He builds on character, personality and energy that he brings to the team.

'For me, Jordan is a similar call-up for the same reasons as Burn. They wear these values on their shoulders and they wear their teams.

'It is absolutely reliable what they bring in terms of energy and this is where the focus is for us to build a strong team and a coherent team. Jordan is a big piece in that puzzle for us. '
