England international and PL star ‘to join Euro 2028 board of directors’

An international in England will play a role in the Board of Directors of Euro 2028, which combines its Premier League football tasks with organizing the tournament, according to a report.

Euro 2028 is played in England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, with the British Island countries that are not in their attempt to organize the tournament after Turkey withdrew from the fight in 2023.

Instead, Turkey will focus on a joint offer with Italy to organize Euro 2032. It was also confirmed that Noord -Ireland will not organize competitions at Euro 2028 as originally planned, nor would it be eligible for automatic qualification.

FA chairman Debbie Hewitt will mention her board of directors this week for Euro 2028, and it is assumed that Aston Villa Center Back Tyrone Mings is in the race for a position, according to De Telegraaf.

The last of Mings '18 England Caps came a year and a half ago and although he will be 35 by the time that Euro 2028 arrives, he will still play.

Not to mention the fact that at the start of the 2014-15 season he received the NO 3 shirt from Ipswich, he exchanged the shirts of fans who had already bought his old song on the back.

Mings was excluded during the entire season of 2023-24 after a serious knee injury on the opening day of the campaign against Newcastle.

However, he returned to Villa's team on October 30, 2024, and made 16 performances this season, including in the Champions League, where they will find next month in the quarterfinals.
