The lion ribbons wanted to collect some momentum before they stand opposite a tough opener against France in Switzerland next Saturday.
Ella Toone hit twice on either side of Lucy Bronze's header to give Sarina Wiegman's side a commander half-time lead.
Georgia Stanway, Alessia Russo, Aggie Beever-Jones and Beth Mead were on goal after the break.
But the biggest cheers of the night was demonstrably reserved for Lauren James when the Chelsea star played her first minutes since she sustained a hamstring injury in April as a replacement for the second half.
James, sister of Chelsea men's captain Reece James, is probably the key if England will defend their crown as European champions.
The preparation of England at the tournament was turned upside down by the shock International retirement of goalkeeper Mary Earps and Millie Bright, who had the side of the World Cup final in 2023 at the World Cup side, and withdrew the necessary physical and emotional fatigue.
But Wiegman said she is excited about what a mix of new faces and experienced winners from Euro 2022 can produce.
“I think there is huge potential in this team and we have many options,” said the Dutch coach.
“I am especially enthusiastic about the team. We had two weeks of training and it was really good. You can feel the fight and we want to go to the euros and play.”
England is also confronted with Euro 2017 champions in the Netherlands and Tournament Buuters Wales in Group D.
