Chloe Kelly has released an emotional explanation about her future, whereby the English star hopes to break a movement of Manchester City.
Kelly, who memorable scored the winning goal when England won Euro 2022, has been struggling this season for playing time, such as Mary Fowler, Vivianne Miedema and Khadija Shaw all for her for her in the pecking order.
Kelly started with just one super league match for women and will leave City when her contract ends in the summer. The 27-year-old, however, wants to leave before the transfer window closes from January to ensure that she will have a place in the English team for Euro 2025.
According to the Telegraph, Manchester United belongs to the clubs interested in its services, but City does not want Kelly to get a rival on loan. And the attacker has now released a statement about her future and reveals that her “mental well -being” suffers from this.
Kelly also said that she will no longer tolerate “someone's negative behavior”, but did not mention the individual. In a message on Instagram, Kelly wrote: “For a long time I tried to take on professional challenges private, not to give public comments, but with my situation that is increasingly being discussed in the public domain, I think it's time to be open And transparent, and you heard it from my perspective.
“An important lesson that I have learned in my life is that, although I cannot control the negative behavior of someone, I can determine how long I am willing to tolerate it. From the first day I have felt so much love of mine Teammates and the fans.
“With my contract that ends in June, I accepted that my future is not in this club afterwards. With the euros that is approaching quickly, this summer is a huge and I want to give it my best to represent my land.
