England striker & former Chelsea star to complete shock move to European side

England -Spits and former Chelsea star Tammy Abraham has been set to complete a permanent relocation of £ 17 million to Besiktas from Roma.

The 27-year-old, who joined Roma in 2021, sent loan on AC Milan last season, where he scored 10 goals.

The former Chelsea and Aston Villa Forward have made 11 performances for England, with its most recent in 2022.

Abraham is said to cost the Super Lig side £ 17 million and he is on his way to Istanbul to complete the formalities of the deal, whereby Besiktas places a video on social media from the striker on board an airplane that is on its way to Istanbul.

Besiktas confirmed the transfer in a statement on the club's website.

“Negotiations started with the player and his club as a Roma Spa with regard to the transfer of professional football player Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham,” said the statement.

Abraham had spent his entire career in the books of Chelsea before he came to Roma in a £ 34 million deal in 2021, where he won the Europa Conference League under Jose Mourinho, who now manages rival side Fenerbahce.

Before that, the 27-year-old loan spells in Bristol City, Swansea and in particular Aston Villa, where he scored 25 league goals in one season.

The Engelsman yielded 37 goals in 120 performances for three seasons in Roma before he expressed the 2024-25 campaign on loan at AC Milan.

He managed 10 goals in 44 races for the Rossoneri and it became clear that Roma was willing to sell him this summer.

Abraham will be under former Manchester United -Baas Ole Gunnar Solskjaer next season.

The Norwegian coach took the lead over the Turkish giants in January and finished a break of more than three years from football.

The Red Devil legend had been from management since his brutal looting in Old Trafford in November 2021.

He helped Besiktas to secure fourth place in the domestic league last season after participating in the middle of the campaign.
