England under the age of 21 dramatically defended their European title with an exciting extra-time victory over Germany.

Replacement Jonathan Rowe's bending head, two minutes after emerging, the Euro 2025 Crown in Bratislava grabbed the trophy that they won two years ago, a victory that ended with a 39-year drought.
Harvey Elliott wiped in his fifth goal of the tournament after just five minutes before Omari Hutchinson went in to double their leadership halfway through half.
Hutchinson, Elliot and James Mcatee were refused by Noah Atubolu and Jay Stansfield missed a slap in the distant post when England threatened to row up.
But the towering header of Nelson Weiper made the score on 2-1 in the first half injury time and the curling effort of Paul Nebel found the upper corner to bring the hour to the hour.
The young lions restored some calmness, but Nebel hit the bar in the last seconds.
England then took a dramatic winner of 92nd minute when Marseille Rowe threw Rowe in Tyler Morton's inviting intersection – although Merlin Rohl almost sent the final to the penalties when his effort hit the bar in stops.
