Enrique’s UCL prediction speaks volumes after heartbreaking Liverpool defeat

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique remained convinced that his Liverpool team could overcome on Anfield, but he appreciated that it will not be easy.

The French champions dominated the procedure in the Parc des Princes in their Champions League round of 16 first bonds. However, they came across a keeper in inspired form, with Alisson time and time again before Super-sub Harvey Elliott completed a Smash-and-Grab for the Premier League leaders.

PSG had a khvicha kvaratskhelia -targeted not allowed for a narrow offside and saw Joao Neves and Bradley Barcola waste great opportunities in the first period. In the end, however, they could not find a way, where the visitors to Arne Slot put an end to the 10-game winning run of Les Parisiens.

Liverpool only lost at home once this season, all the way back in September. Nottingham Forest was the team to upset them, but Luis Enrique saw enough in the first stage to feel that his team can do the company on Merseyside.

“My feelings now [are] It is difficult to think about the game in a positive way, because I think we deserve to win, clearly: “The former Barcelona boss told TNT Sports.” I think it is one of the best matches in the Champions League that we did this season and last year last year, and if you think that Liverpool's best player Alisson Alisson Alisson was Alisson – Okay, good is many times unfair and we have to accept that. But we are ready for it [to go to] Liverpool.

“We have nothing to lose,” he went on. “Liverpool is the best team in Europe [this] Year and today they have created a maximum of one or two opportunities and we have made a lot. I am very proud of my players, my team, the supporters and I think that is the key. “

He claimed that PSG Liverpool gave the kind of challenge with which they had never confronted under Arne Slot, which suggests that his team can take a lot of positivity in the second stage. When asked if they can still claim, he smiled and said, “Of course! We are going to do it.”

PSG -midfielder Vitinha also believed that his team has the quality to make up for Anfield. “We will show the team that we are, we will show our character,” the Portugal International told Canal+ (via GFFN).

“We're going to win there. With the game we played, the victory was more than deserved. As at the start of the season, we had many opportunities, but we did not score. “

The person who progresses from the round of 16 draw will take on Aston Villa or Club Brugge in the quarterfinals. Villa holds the upper hand after the third stage and wins 3-1 in Belgium with Leon Bailey and Marco Asensio on both sides of Brandon Mechele's own purpose.
