EPL players who announced their retirement at the end of last season

Every summer it delivers its share in the transfer hype, but in the low season of 2025 a few departing Premier League icons has also seen on their match days.

A few respected veterans mentioned for a distinguished careers for time, with the most moving to coaching rolls with their previous clubs.

Here is a look at some big names that have mentioned this year on their play career.

Jonny Evans

The Veteran Center -Back is formally retired on 30 May 2025, at the age of 37, which completes a 19 -year career and more than 600 professional performances.
