And Ten Hag confirmed that he will keep his options wide open when it comes to his next step.
This includes a potentially early end to his management career, so that he won three Eredivisie titles and two Dutch cups with Ajax, before he lifted the FA Cup and Carabao Cup with Man Utd.
The former Utrecht Baas would be open to a new project that “suits him”, but currently eliminating with his family with his family.
The father of the Dutchman Hennie has a successful real estate company, while his brothers Michel and Rico run various financing companies.
Ten Hag told SEG stories: “I don't know how my career will develop. But I'm going to do my best.
“Provided that something comes along that suits me. There are so many other things that I could do.
“Maybe in football, in a new position as a manager. That is an option. And maybe something completely different.
“I have worked with my brothers lately. We have our own company. Or rather: they have their own company.
“But we also run a company together with our father. That is also something I like to do.
“I can give that more attention now and it is also very nice.”
