Eriksen says he expects to leave Man Utd when his contract expires this summer

Manchester United -midfielder Christian Eriksen says that he is “willing to find something new” after the end of his current contract with Old Trafford.

The 33-year-old deal is going down this summer and he has taken over with the club about an extension.

“In my head I am willing to find something new,” said Eriksen, speaking with Danish Outlet TV2 for the two-legged Nations League Quarte final of Denmark against Portugal.

“What that will be is not something I have already decided. I have heard nothing, and if I don't do that, I assume the collaboration will stop.

“That's how I interpret it. Everyone knows that the contract ends, so I think there is only one way [it will go]. “

Eriksen has made 27 performances for United this season, but only started in six of his 14 performances under the new boss Ruben Amorim.

The former Spurs midfielder signed for United in 2022 on a free transfer.
