Erling Haaland has offered the Champions League of Manchester City, hopes a huge boost, based on his latest social media post.
This season, the Norwegian frontman has been wonderful for the goal with 21 strikes in 28 Premier League matches, but recently missed after an ankle injury.
The issue was assumed in the FA Cup victory of Manchester City on Bournemouth, and the citizens have since succeeded it with a semi-final victory against Nottingham Forest in Wembley to go up with Crystal Palace in the show pain.
After the injury to the cherries, however, Guardiola shared the worrying prognosis and said: 'The doctors told me that there will be between five and seven weeks.
“Hopefully he will be ready at the end of the season and the World Cup.”
But now, a little less than four weeks later, the Norwegian striker went to social media to let fans know that he is back in training.
“Training with the team,” wrote the record-smashing striker, in what will certainly be huge new for every city fan.
Not that a team is better without Haaland, but City has not lost a match since his injury, winning four of their last five in the Premier League and drawing 0-0 with Manchester United in Old Trafford.
However, if Man City has to take care of Champions League football, and even the FA Cup wins to give a positive twist to a disappointing campaign, Guardiola Haaland wants to go back in his side.
After a relatively lean piece of only three competition goals in 13 games, he has since found his best form, with eight in the next 10, and a few assists to start up.
He also managed eight goals in a nine-game Champions League campaign that City will feel much too early for their taste, lost in total against Real Madrid in the round of 16 play-offs.
City is currently ahead of Chelsea in Fifth and Nottingham Forest in the sixth, with the top five teams that will reach the Champions League next season.
