Ernesto Pellegrini dead aged 84: Inter Milan’s former president dies just hours before Champions League final

Former president of Inter Milan, Ernesto Pellegrini, is 84 years old – only a few hours before the final of the Champions League.

The resident of Milan owned the Serie A Giants from 1984 to 1995.

Pellegrini grew up like an interfan of the boy and was the 17th president of the Nerazzurri.

Under his leadership, Inter won a record -breaking Scudetto in 1988/89.

They also secured the Supercoppa Italiana and two UEFA Cup titles.

He was admitted to the club's Hall of Fame in 2020.

Allegedly Pellegrini died on Saturday morning at 8 am.

Inter Face PSG in the Champions League final in Munich's Champions League.

The team will wear black bracelets in honor of him.

The team led X and wrote: “President Ernesto Pellegrini has left us.

“He has led Inter with wisdom, honor and determination for eleven years, so that an indelible mark had left the history of our club.

“FC Internazionale Milano and all Nerazzurri fans gather around his family.”
