Ethan Nwaneri and Bukayo Saka dilemma could lead to dream Arsenal scenario

Micah Richards believes that Mikel Arteta should consider moving the 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri to the Center-Forward position when Bukayo Saka returns to Arsenal.

In the 2-0 victory of Arsenal, Nwaneri shone at Leicester City and founded Mikel Merino for the first goal with an excellent cross. The teenagers' performances have been a lifeline for the Crocked Gunners, who miss Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Saka into long -term injuries.

Arsenal was heavily criticized because he did not sign any other attacker in the transfer star of January, despite their injuries and lack of a traditional center output. They are previously connected to people like RB Leipzig Forward Benjamin Sesko and Juventus Hitman Dusan Vlahovic, but an interest is expected to be detected, or not at all, in the summer transfer window.

Raheem Sterling, Leandro Trossard and Nwaneri formed the front line at the weekend, but it was Merino, a defensive midfielder of Trade, who scored both goals. While Arsenal fans torment in advance about their options, Richards thinks that Nwaneri could be the answer to the striking problems of Arsenal.

When it is about Nwaneri in the rest, Richards, Richards, said: “He is dazzling, isn't it? The way he moves, his trust, his left foot.

“I mean, we have placed Saka many times, but he really came to the fore at the right time. At the age of 17, his technology was by far the best player on the field. Everything he missed was a goal.”

When asked how Arteta could house both Saka and Nwaneri, Richards added: “I would place him (nwaneri) in the front and put Saka on the right. How Arsenal plays, they love players who can press and play players.

“He is a talent. A real, real talent. I just hope that he has no real bad injuries and remains focused, because Arsenal still has one.”

Richards is not the only one who believes that the U19S International in England can be a threat in the middle. Arteta has previously flirted to use Nwaneri as a striker.

In response to a similar question, the boss of the Gunners said: “I think it is [more about] When (he could become a striker). I think it's there [a possibility] More than a necessity is that real quality. He plays as an attacking midfielder and on the right wing and I think it is really good in that position, so that's fine. “

Nwaneri has scored two goals and contributed an assist in his last four Premier League matches. He also found the net in the 2-1 victory of Arsenal over Girona in their latest Champions League collision.

The teenager will probably be used more often because Saka is not expected to come back from an injury to the end of March. The international of England did not play since December 21, when the Gunners Crystal Palace destroyed 5-1.
