Arsenal concludes a new long -term contract for Wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri to reward his constant rapid rise.
Mail Sport understands that the proposed deal is up to five years.
The attacker, one of the most promising prospects of Arsenal, has scored eight goals this season in 29 performances while he stepped on the right wing to fill a gap on the left through the hamstring injury of Bukayo Saka.
Nwaneri previously signed his first professional contract with the Gunners last year at the age of 17 – the youngest eligible age to sign such conditions – which is three years old.
He turned 18 today and the North -London club wants to go one step further to secure his future in the long term, with the rapid progression of Nwaneri this season and has exceeded the high expectations of arsenal staff.
The Gunners have previously had to ward off the interest of both Chelsea and Manchester City.
The teenager is currently gone with the England under the age of 21 for friendly games against France and Portugal.
Nwaneri made his Premier League debut on September 18, 2022 against Brentford at the age of 15 and 181 days and became the youngest player to appear in the top flight of English football.
He then continued to impress the level of the youth team, before he became a permanent member of the first team team this season.
Contract negotiations are currently high on the agenda at Arsenal, where E -Mailsport reported earlier this week that the club will open conversations with Saka about a new deal.
He is one of the three most important players whose contract ends in 2027.
Defensive duo William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes also have two years to walk their respective deals, and both will probably show interest in Europe's Elite clubs in the coming months.
