Levi Colwill says that Paris Saint-Germain should be afraid of Chelsea for their club World Cup final in New Jersey-not the other way around.
Although Colwill accepts that the blues are considered underdogs for this Sunday's confrontation, he believes that they have attackers who are also worth fearing.
That includes Cole Palmer, their playmaker whose face everywhere in Billboards in New York is plastered with the messages: 'Scary Good'. You can't walk through Manhattan or drive through the metro without seeing his Nike advertisement.
Colwill told reporters for a training session on Friday: 'It's just one football game and when you play for Chelsea, you are not afraid to play against someone and that is how we all feel.
'We are pleased to go to the final and hopefully we can win. We completely believe in ourselves to cross the line. I believe in us. We can beat everyone, so we will take that confidence in the game. We didn't just come here to be in the final. We want to win the competition. '
PSG won 5-0 against Inter Milan in the Champions League final and 4-0 versus Real Madrid in the semi-final of the club World Cup, and Colwill continued: 'They are a great team, but we are not an inter or real. We are going to take something different. We are different players. We have faith in ourselves to win the game.
'Real Madrid is very different from us. They don't press us or play like us. They can't expect us to give them the same game. We are going to bring different things.
'You have to respect how they press, how they play, but we are not going to change our whole way to play them. We have our plan, our identity that we will adhere through the Gaffer. That's when we play our best football, so let's stick to it.
'We are so far when playing our football, so why are we going to change that now?
'Most people around the world would expect PSG to win, but we don't think so in this camp. You always want to play against the best players to see how good you really are.
'I think they will look at our attackers and they will know that it will not be an easy game.
'If everyone thinks we will lose, we have nothing to lose. We go outside, play our football, are confident and hopefully surprise everyone. '
