Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (36) is in conversation with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah about a contract termination, according to a report on Monday by Foot Mercato.
The Gabonese international striker came to Saudi Arabia on the back of a remarkable season with Olympique de Marseille. Aubameyang registered 30 goals in 51 games played with the Olympiens, before signing a two-year deal with Al-Qadsiah.
Aubameyang has not lost its touch in the SPL. He found the back of the net 17 times in the competition. But Al-Qadsiah may not benefit from Aubameyang's output for a second consecutive season. Foot Mercato understands that the former shooter is talking about a contract and that only details still have to be ironed before Aubameyang becomes a free agent.
The outlet adds that a handful of Saudi clubs have taken note of the contractual situation of Aubameyang. An MLS franchise, as well as clubs of Ligue 1, the Premier League, Turkey's Süper Lig, Series A and Spain are considering a step for the soon too free agent, who was in Saint-Etienne this Monday.
