Everton DITCHED red ketchup & dyed it BLUE to avoid Liverpool’s colours

A hot dog garnished with blue sauce served in the new stadium of Everton in Bramley-Moore Dock has become viral on social media.

25,000 Toffees fans received a taste of their new home on Sunday, while the club organized a second test event in the £ 800 million Everton Stadium, which will organize matches of next season in the first season.

Everton's Under 21s defeated Bolton Wanderers B 1-0 in the Arena of 52,888 capacity – which had a planned evacuation during the game for safety features – but it was the food served in kiosks in the ground that all headlines took.

Fans who chose to pay £ 9.50 for a fully charged hot dog, were quick that the sauce covered the sausage looked a bit odd.

Proponents are convinced that in a hilarious attempt the color red – worn by Everton's greatest rivals Liverpool – has painted the club Ketchup blue.

However, the club has confirmed that the mysterious blue spice is in fact garlic aioli, and the color change is a tribute to the Everton fans.

It was also revealed that if blues supporters feel like a hamburger in the ground, they have to tolerate them with red ketchup, which means that the color was not eradicated from the stadium as previously presented.

'Only for clarification is the spice a blue garlic aioli, no ketchup or mayo, and is a very deliberate and appreciative nod to Everton and for fans,' club officials told the mirror. “Traditional ketchup remains absolutely available!”

Nevertheless, fans still loved the tongue-in-cheek gesture, even if it was not painted ketchup.

One toffee wrote: 'Oh no, the hot dog of Blue Ketchup has found its way to my family group, and I am stunned about how many heads the joke has gone. It goes back to the age -old joke that blues “don't even allow red sauce in our house.” In my opinion hilarious from Everton. '

'Red Ketchup Forbidden at Bramley is something I can really find out. Up the blue ketchup toffees! “Wrote another.

Liverpool supporters also saw the funny side of the stunt, but for various reasons.

One red fan joked: 'Liverpool Win Titels, Everton changes color of Ketchup. What they would do to be us. '

“A priority that boy, instead of filling your trophy cupboard, you prefer to fill your bottles with blue sauce because you don't like red ?????,” wrote another.

Although the stunt of the Merseyside club may not have been what it seemed, Everton fans are known for their hatred against the red.

In 2016, former Everton manager Ronald Koeman Wending led by fan by posting a photo of his Christmas tree covered with red decorations.

The Dutchman revealed his tree to social media, but many fans were quickly disapproving the color of the ornaments, some of them called it 'disappointing'

Of course the majority of the answers seemed light. However, it still led from a change of heart in the ex-Toffee Baas, who later tweeted a photo of another tree, this time with the decorations predominantly white.
