Jack Grealisk is confronted with a small future with Manchester City under Pep Guardiola, but one of their Premier League rivals could offer the English man an escape route from the Etihad Stadium
Everton has made their efforts to sign Jack Grealishe while he wants to breathe new life into his career. The winger of Manchester City is confronted with little future in the Etihad Stadium that has been told to leave by Pep Guardiola.
Grealishe was from the city team for the World Cup Club in the US. With the new season now just a week away, the 29-year-old has to find a new club, but it seems that Everton could offer him a way out.
According to The Times, the side of David Moyes increases their attempts to bring Grealisk to Merseyside. They want to sign him on loan and have recently taken further conversations with regard to an agreement.
City wants to earn as much as possible from Grealish's £ 300k-per week wage package back, a requirement that Everton is apparently open to meeting. The winger is also open to a movement over the northwest.
Guardiola spoke earlier this summer about the future of Grealishe, said: “It was a conversation between him and the club and they decide. Jack is an exceptional player, the only reason he did not play last season, is of course my decisions, and we decide that he should play – and the club was honest, he was honest.
“We decide best that he has a place where he can feel that he can play and come back to be the player he was in the year of the Treble or all his career at Aston Villa; without him it would have been impossible or harder to reach the Treble.
“The fact is that he has not played many minutes in the last two seasons and he has to come back to play and get the butterflies back in his belly that he can play every three days and show the quality he has.”
Grealisk could become Everton's sixth signature of the summer if a movement goes through it. They have already completed deals for Thierno Barry and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Villarreal and Chelsea respectively.

Adam Aznou and Mark Travers have also completed movements, while the loan from Carlos Alcaraz from Flamengo was permanently made. The side of Moyes also retains an interest in Southampton's Tyler Dibbling – the young person missed the championship opener of the Saints against Wrexham on Saturday.
Everton will start their Premier League campaign against newly promoted Leeds United next weekend. Meanwhile, Man City is starting their campaign against Wolves in Molineux.
