Although Diaz also plagued another boxing match, a return to the UFC would be huge, but there is one big obstacle that stops it.
According to the opinion of the 39-year-old, the promotion currently has no stars and he wants to come back with something big.

Nate Diaz says that there is a lack of stars that resists its UFC recovery
In a recent interview with complete violence, Nate Diaz spoke about the possibility that he again competed in the Octagon.
His last fight took place at UFC 279, where he submitted Tony Ferguson in the last fight on his contract before participating in boxing matches against Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal.
Diaz has often said in recent years that there is nothing that excites him in the UFC in the same way as his return of 2019 to Anthony Pettis and Masvidal.
This is currently feeding in a constant debate about the current Pole of Top stars of the MMA leader and whether this is a problem for them.
When Diaz spoke about what holds his UFC recovery, he referred to the lack of stars as he mentioned two former rivals as the only exciting guys.

For Diaz he just wants someone to start making serious noise, because although he wants to fight for the Welterweight title, he does not think there is someone at his level of star status.

What could Nate Diaz seduce back?
If you look at what Nate Diaz has seduced in the past, it is clear that he wants a big fight that has bets about it.
He called Jorge Masvidal after 'GameBred' became the conversation of the sport after his knockout by Ben Askren and while Leon Edwards did not have the same kind of hype, their five-round fight had the consequences for the title.
If you look at the names that Diaz could inspire to get back in the Octagon, Welterweight may have a little low in options, but one of the tent names at lightweight would be more than suitable.
There is still unfinished things with Dustin Poirier, even if 'The Diamond' has the finish line in sight with another option such as Max Holloway's BMF title, although Diaz would probably have to fall to 155 pounds for that.
Not to mention the will of Charles Oliveira, Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett who might not be realistic options, but they would apparently have large enough to seduce Diaz back if they could meet at Welterweight.
