Conte led Napoli to the Scudetto last season on the first attempt, but he was unable to win in Viviano.
“I don't like conte, in the sense that every time I hear him speak, I don't like him,” Viviano said on the podcast, to Ne Intendi di Calcio.
“I don't love his football either, but when I say that conte is an idiot, I am the idiot. Conte is a great coach, a winner, someone who knows how to do things. Again, when you talk to me, I prefer other coaches.
“And some people, to go against (max) allegri, make him look like the absolute idiot, and that bothers me.
“I also don't really like what he says, but he exaggerates. In terms of communication he is number one for me; he has won and that is all there is, but personally, if I have to see a team play, I would rather watch a team that is not coached by him.”
