Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has inspired the Premier League costs of the team with 32 goals this season, but seems to be increasingly to be leaving for a free transfer this summer after disagreing a new deal
Former Liverpool -star Didi Hamann has admitted that he would “keep” Mohamed Salah to leave Anfield for Bayern Munich this summer. At the end of the season, the Egyptian will become a free agent if things are standing, but it is still unclear what the next chapter of his career could be.
Salah may enjoy his best season ever as a football player after reaching 32 goals in 43 games to lead the title of the team, but has repeatedly insisted that this would be his last year in Liverpool after eight seasons.
There have been suggestions that the 32-year-old could make the switch to the Saudi Pro League, since they are one of the few destinations that can meet his salary requirements. But former Liverpool -midfielder Hamann has risked the wrath of supporters by suggesting that he joined another of his old clubs in Bayern Munich, and said he would easily go into the team and form an exciting attack with Harry Kane.
“Mohamed Salah to Bayern Munich would be very exciting,” he said Poker Scout. “Bayern has Kingsley Coman, who has not been the best lately, Leroy Sane seems ready to leave the club, and the most impressive is Michael Olise who signed last summer, so I think they need two or three broad players for next season.
“Just like bringing Harry Kane to the club, it would be enormously exciting to see Salah in Bayern, but also for the Bundesliga to have a player like Salah. Even if it was just one or two years, I would love to see it.”
Hamann started his career at Bayern and played 143 times for them before he came to Newcastle and then Liverpool – where he spent seven seasons. He played 280 times for the Reds and won nine trophies -including a famous Champions League triumph in 2004-05.
Salah would become a member of a Bayern Munich team that probably seems to win the Bundesliga in the first season of Vincent Kompany and the prospect to connect with ex-Tottenham Man Kane would certainly be exciting.
He stated earlier that he was “far away” from the match of new conditions, but a recent report from Egypt claimed that the negotiations between Salah and his agent Rami Abbas are now rising again.
The report from Masrawy says that conversations were much more advanced with the range on the table higher than more in the past.
There is some optimism that Salah and defender Virgil van Dijk are left, where the Dutchman is also approaching the end of his contract.
But a player who looks destined to leave for a free transfer is Boyhood Reds-star Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is supposed to be locked up in conversations about a move to Real Madrid.
