Ex-Liverpool star’s TV presenter wife dazzles on the opening night of the CWC

Loris Karius' TV presenter Vrouw Diletta Leotta was seen when attending the opening match of the World Cup 2025 Club.

The tournament started this weekend for the first time in its new format, with Lionel Messi's Inter Miami being held by Egyptian side Al-Ahly to a draw on a home floor.

While the opener finally ended aimlessly, the various celebrities present were treated to a campaigning match that was almost interrupted by a final second goal of the Argentinian.

One of the watching was Leotta, who shared a series of snaps of the game with her nine million followers on Instagram.

Leotta, famous in her native Italy for her work on Serie A on Dazn, would also interview FIFA president Gianni Infantino before the competition.

The 33-year-old has two children with the former Premier League goalkeeper Karius, and the couple made the knot in a private ceremony in Sicily last year.

Karius opted for a tuxedo with a white jacket, while his wife put on a studio EME auction, decorated with the expression 'everything I ever wanted'.

The couple exchanged vows for a beautiful view of the Tyrrhenian Sea next to their daughter Aria.

Leotta previously begged the then Newcastle goalkeeper Karius to consider her home country as his next career destination, so that he could be closer to her and their daughter, and even suggested a potential club to participate.

“Loris has people by his side who work for him,” she told the Italian newspaper Tuttosport in 2024.

“I hope he makes the best decision for his career.

'I live in Milan, so let's say it would be close to Milan to be ideal for us.

'I always tell him, players who come to the Serie A will fall in love with Italy and often stay there forever. I think that could happen to him too.

'[He should join] Monza or another team in Italy. I would be happy if he came to Italy to play near his family.

'Newcastle is very awkward because there are no direct flights. Neither about Paris nor about Amsterdam. '

Despite her hope, a move to the Mediterranean Sea was not for Karius, and he returned to Germany instead after a stint as a free agent to join the second Schalke.

Initially, Karius arrived for a short -term agreement in January and made four league games for the club before he was excluded for the rest of the campaign due to injury.

The 31-year-old then signed a two-year contract extension earlier this week, so that he held in the club until 2027.
