UFC 'goat' Jon Jones is tipped to come back against Tom Aspinall.
It is not even a month since the UFC champion heavyweight has given up its title, gloves hung on a legendary MMA career and a story that he 'dives' a title Unification Bout with Tom Aspinall.
Jones's pension announcement came almost 600 days after Aspinall became the interim champion. During that time, Aspinall defended his interim title against Curtis Blaydes, while Jones, instead in November against Stipe Miocic Vocht on UFC 309, did not take place for a fight with Aspinall.
Despite earlier guarantees, UFC CEO Dana White said that he did everything he could do to make the super fight happen, with 'bones' not willing to admit.
Although some have switched to the non-so-potential matchup, there is a British champion who has still crossed his fingers on Aspinall vs. Jones.

Leon Edwards thinks that Jon Jones will retire for Tom Aspinall
Former UFC champion Welterweight Leon Edwards was one of the many fans who screamed for the super fight of Aspinall-Jones.
A hunter from Birmingham, Edwards was happy to see that his countryman Aspinall was promoted to the undisputed heavyweight champion, and admitted that we did not see him fighting Jon Jones.
Edwards, however, believes that there will be a day when Jones and Aspinall finally cross paths.
“I would like to see him and Jon Jones,” Edwards told Joe Leigh of Sky Sports.
“I thought he was trying to get more money from the UFC,” said Edwards about why Jones retired.
“However, I think he will come back,” said the former champion about Jones.
“Let Tom go outside and compete. I think he will definitely come back.”
The prediction of Edwards if the enormous heavyweight title fight comes to bloom?
“For me, Jon Jones is the goat …
“But heavyweight, I have the feeling that you should probably throw Tom,” Edwards added.
Daniel Cormier says that Jon Jones will now beat Tom Aspinall
The biggest rival of Jon Jones, Daniel Cormier, says that Jones could make a mistake by not fighting Aspinall.
Jones withdraws from sport a month before his 38th birthday. Aspinall is much younger at the age of 32. While the Brit has quickly worked on the heavyweight division, the former champion Cormier Jones should currently choose above Aspinall.
“Give my head, I would have said that Jon Jones would beat him now,” Cormier said on the poundcast of Pound 4 Pound.
“Guess why? Tom was never pushed into those championship rounds. As soon as he has those championship rounds, even now, say, Ciryl Gane pushes him twenty -five minutes …
“If he beats Ciryl Gane, but he learns to go twenty -five minutes where you feel that the first time – Tom did not come from the stools for a third round.
Aspinall only removed it once from the opening round in its UFC career. The longest UFC fight from Aspinall lasted a little more than 6 minutes against former champion Andrei Arlovski, a fight that he completed in the second round.
'Francis [Ngannou]when he fought against dot [Miocic] And he was going to try to eliminate him, Francis looked like he saw a spirit …
“You now had to fight Tom if he doesn't have that experience. Especially as Jon Jones,” said Cormier.
