Two years have passed since the last UFC fight of Amanda Nunes.
The greatest female hunter of all time withdrew from the sport at the top and laid her two UFC titles in the Octagon after her eleventh title fight Win at UFC 289 in June 2023.
Since initiated in the UFC Hall of Fame, Amanda Nunes will come from retirement in a super fight with newly crowned Bantam weight champion Kayla Harrison.
Former teammates at the American top team, Harrison called Nunes after she had submitted Julianna Peña to UFC 316. Nunes and Harrison had an epic face-off in the cage for what could be the greatest fight in the MMA history of women.
There is some uncertainty about when we Harrison vs. Nunes can see because the recurring nunes are confronted with a delay of six months because they are not in the drug test pool.
When she is eligible to fight again, Nunes is advised not to fight Harrison immediately.

Rampage Jackson wants a disposal fight for Amanda Nunes
By the time Nunes returns, 'The Lioness' will approach three years of inactivity.
Jackson stands against a dual Olympic gold medal winner in Judo for her return, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton 'Rampage' says that a repayment fight would be a good idea to prepare Nunes for the ruling champion.
“I would like to see Nunes like a warm-up fight,” said Jackson on the Jaxxon podcast.
“But I know that UFC does not believe in warm-up fighting.”
“However, she is the best female hunter of all time,” replied former UFC champion TJ Dillashaw, insisting that Nunes does not need a shit fight.
“Yet she is human,” Jackson said about Nunes.
While Nunes are fighting against another competition before Harrison is very unlikely, this is not the worst idea in the world after two years of pension.
Luke Rockhold calls Kayla Harrison an 'interim champion'
Last Saturday Harrison was awarded the undisputed Bantamweight Champion Ladies of the World. But with nunes that return, not everyone sees it that way.
In anticipation of the likely superfight, former UFC Middleweight King Luke Rockhold Harrison has labeled an 'interim champion'.
“Nunes ran away as a champion and she returns as a champion,” said Rockhold about Nunes.
“She really is the champion. She is still the champion.
“This is the interim champion,” said Rockhold about Harrison.
“This is an interim championship …
“Given that she is back, she was #1 when she left and she is now #1,” Rockhold said about Nunes.
