EXCLUSIVE: Rasmus Hojlund looks set to leave Manchester United this summer

The future of Manchester United of Rasmus Hojlund comes into the picture with the expectation that he will move this summer.

He spoke in America during the pre-season tour, but the urge of Manchester United for Benjamin Sesko is a clear signal that they prioritize a new goal scorer, even after bringing in both Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.

The lack of Hojlund end product has become a growing care and a new start of the Premier League is probably looking.

RB Leipzig is a possible destination, especially when Manchester United becomes serious about signing Sesko of the German club.

Inter Milan has still monitored the situation. They previously held an approach about a loan in the window, but Manchester United was not open to that at the time.

That attitude can soften if Hojlund stays on the books in the last part of the window. If that is the case, expect more clubs to circling. A movement would give Hojlund the platform to rediscover its shape and rebuild trust.

In the meantime, sources say that Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim prefers Ollie Watkins over Sesko.

He sees Watkins as a better suited for the system that he builds – but the problem is the price.

Manchester United is not willing to pay more than £ 50 million for Watkins, and Aston Villa is not willing to lower their requirements. Unless the player himself forces a movement – who did not happen – there is little room to work with.

There was a strong expectation that Manchester United would at least try to close a deal and some sources say they approached villa on the weekend.

But behind the scenes, recruitment chief Christopher Vivell has worked hard to convince decision makers that Sesko is the better long -term option.

Age, benefit and resale value are all part of the field. Vivell has also claimed that Sesko can develop into the kind of ahead that fits Amorim's tactical ideas, even if there are some doubts about it.

There is no doubt that the data supports Watkins – his output in the past two seasons has been consistent and impressive. Manchester United knows that he was open to the move.

Sesko is also enthusiastic about Manchester United, but this week is probably decisive. He must choose his move.

If Newcastle Sesko misses, it is not impossible that they make their own move for Watkins.
