FA Cup holders Crystal Palace have many interests in a few of their stars prior to the new season, but it seems that the Eagles can actually keep them
Ebereechi Eze and Marc Guehi have not excluded that they are staying in Crystal Palace despite interest from Arsenal and Liverpool. The Eagles pair was expected to be moving this summer after the club had lifted the FA Cup last season.
Arsenal saw the English winger as a potential broad recruit, despite signing Noni Madueke from Chelsea. In the meantime, Liverpool Guehi put on their shortlist as a potential replacement for Jarell Quansah – who completed a relocation of £ 35 million to German Side Bayer Leverkusen earlier this summer.
Although the couple has leasers, it is not guaranteed that they are leaving. According to the sun, Palace has not received any sturdy offers for Eze or Guehi and they are no hurry to cash in.
Guehi has only left for his contract in Selhurst Park for a year and it seems more likely that he can leave for free in just 12 months. And if he does, it could possibly open the door for movements to the Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.
In the meantime, Eze could also stay in South Londs despite the importance of Arsenal. The broad man is interested in a movement to the Emirates, but the Gunners are not yet willing to activate his release clause of £ 68 million, so that they can go to alternative goals.
Fresh developments above Eze and Guehi's views are at odds with the approach of chairman Steve Parish last summer after he claimed that he had been shocked that he remained. He also underlined his willingness to do business with the great batters of the Premier League.
“I was really worried from a club point of view to lose Michael and Ebbs in the same window and we didn't have the interest I thought we would have,” Parish told Sky Sports News.
“I was surprised. Really surprised. I mean, the man is just an excellent football player, an excellent person.”

He added: “We want to sell at the top clubs, or to clubs like Newcastle who have great ambitions and have recently been to the Champions League.
“So we have to manage all those things. We won't get a great young talent to come to us when they think they are stuck.”
“We want to play in the Champions League,” said Parish. “The reality is that we are not now. That is what players want to achieve in their career and we respect that and we respect the fact that we will sometimes be a way.”
