Fabegas led Como to promotion last year and they are now in the Serie A in the Serie A, which has been an impressive season for the Spanish head coach. The former midfielder of Arsenal with a move to Bayer Leverkusen to replace Xabi Alonso, who will be the successor to Carlo Ancelotti from Real Madrid at the end of the season, but this has now been destroyed.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that there was never a plan for Fabregas to leave the Italian side and that the replacement of Alonso will have to be found elsewhere.
“Como has confirmed their clear plans to Bayer Leverkusen on Monday to continue with CESC Fabregas. Despite reports about an exit in recent weeks, CESC was never close to leaving Como.
“He has always been fully involved as part of the long -term project.”
Leverkusen, who will play in the Champions League of next season, has not convinced Fabregas of their project, which will probably lose Florian Wirtz and Jeromie Frimpong this summer in what a Squad output can. Como is currently on an undefeated run of six games in the Italian flight, keeps four clean sheets in the process and looks excellent under Fabregas who still learn the ropes of management early in his career.
