Fan falls throwing a left hook during bizarre Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson crowd fight

One of the worst amateur fights you will ever see took place about a hundred rows away at AT&T Stadium between two fans at Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson.

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson went the distance in their heavyweight boxing match. In the stands, two fans decided to shake hands, but the fight between them was so lame that the surrounding attendees broke it up out of boredom.

Massive brawls take place at combat sports events, as seen at UFC and other high-profile cards. Paul vs. Tyson was one of the biggest boxing matches of 2024 with a huge viewing audience.

Alcohol, combined with the high-intensity locations where fights take place, can sometimes lead to violent altercations between spectators.

Two fans may have had too much to drink at AT&T Stadium ahead of the highly anticipated clash between Paul and Tyson. As tensions rose, the two men decided to do an impromptu boxing test in one of the halls, but it didn't turn out as most expected.

Fan falls on his face and punches during a public fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson

One of the fans threw a quick uppercut that barely missed his opponent's chin. But a subsequent left hook badly missed the target with a force so strong that he knocked himself to the ground and flat on his face.

The other fan with a mullet decided to fight dirty against his opponent. He tried to keep an eye on his rival before surrounding fans intervened to separate the two sides.

In total, a handful of hits took place between the two fans in the hall. At the time of writing, it's uncertain whether they've been kicked out of the venue by security, but they likely won't be trying to fight again after their performances anytime soon.

An awkward crowd fight adds to the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson storylines

Paul defeated Tyson in the main event by unanimous decision for his fifth consecutive boxing victory. The 58-year-old Tyson struggled to maintain competitive activity levels as the fight progressed, and Paul landed the bigger punches in the later rounds.

Paul called up boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez for his next fight, but at the time of writing, Alvarez has not responded to his pitch for a fight. Alvarez defeated Edgar Berlanga in his last fight in September by unanimous decision to retain his super middleweight titles.

Before beating Tyson, Paul defeated former UFC superstar Nate Diaz and Bare Knuckle FC CEO Mike Perry, among others. Next, he could potentially avenge the long defeat of his professional boxing career in a rematch against Tommy Fury.

Tyson made his first professional boxing appearance since a loss to Kevin McBride in 2005. In 2020, he returned to boxing in an exhibition setting, fighting to a draw against fellow legend Roy Jones Jr.

Mass fights do happen and usually result in some form of injury or aftermath involving police. Fortunately, neither fan appeared seriously injured, although the entertainment value of their fight fell short of initial expectations.
