Belal Muhammad has shred Sean Strickland in an eruption of social media that some fans think it has become 'too far'.
Welterweight Champion Muhammad is regularly the target of the bizarre speeches and interviews from Strickland and chose to hit back in a tweet tonight. He went straight before the neck and focused on the personal life of his rival and more in a post that is now becoming viral.
Muhammad responded to how Strickland, known for having a less than exciting fighting style, shoots a world title about Nassourdine Imavov and Khamzat Chimaev, who wins flashy stop wins about former champion Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker respectively.
Belal Muhammad fragment sean strickland in viral tweet
Posted in a tweet tonight, Belal Muhammad decided to focus on Sean Strickland, who mocked his fighting style. The controversial middleweight candidate is about to be confronted with Dricus du Plessis on UFC 312 in a rematch of their January 2024 confrontation that ended in a split decision.
Strange that Chimaev was done with Whittaker and Imavov ended Izzy, but the man who has sent Costa 150 times gets the title shot. But we all know that he is good at crying and using his mouth, not Diddy, I just heard it from his father

However, Muhammad thinks that there may have been better contenders for the belt than Strickland, who has only won once since that defeat. He surpassed Paulo Costa in a snooze Fest on UFC 302 that disappointed fans.
“Crazy that Chimaev Whittaker and Imavov finished, Izzy ended, but the man who has dropped Costa 150 times gets the title shot,” wrote Muhammad on X. “But we all know that he is good at crying and using his mouth, not Diddy , I just heard from his father “.

“I thought you were better than this,” wrote one fan, while another added that his tweet was: “Not cool. This is going too far.” Muhammad's part of the message about Strickland's father refers to the upbringing of the Jager, which he has discussed in detail in the past.
Other fans claimed that a fight between Mohammed and Strickland would potentially be the most boring in the UFC history, given their styles. “I can't imagine how boring a Belal vs Strickland would turn out to be,” they wrote, with many who echoed the feelings.
