Fans went to social media on Wednesday evening after they claimed that they saw a big Sky Sports Gaffe for the Merseyside Derby in Anfield.
Liverpool achieved a 1-0 win over their arch rivals Everton thanks to the second half of Diogo Jota to get one step closer to win the Premier League title.
But it was what happened before a ball was even kicked that attracted the attention of a number of fans online.
Because the famous national anthem of Liverpool, you will never walk alone, was sung for the kick-off, fans who watched at home seemed to be the sound of Sky Sports louder and from the time.
This led to many on social media that the broadcaster had used a predetermined version to make the atmosphere look better than it was for the blockbuster fixture.
'Have Sky Sports just on its own for playing Ynwa about the actual crowd to make it sound louder ?????' An X user early.
Another fan had the same thought and added: 'As if Sky Sports literally changed the Ynwa sound literally to make it sound better. Someone else notices that or alone me? '
“Hahaha Sky is wrong the Ynwa speakers,” claimed another supporter.
The atmosphere in Anfield was sometimes questioned this season, and a fan suggested that Sky had done their best to help them by using an old version of the club's national anthem.
“Sky Sports who proves that Anfield has a recording of the fans who sing Ynwa,” they wrote.
Exactly how hard you will never walk alone, was sung in the stadium, is uncertain, but there was a red -hot atmosphere as soon as the game started.
The noise only increased when Everton -defender James Tarkowski was demonstrably happy to avoid a red card for the day of a “Leg Breaker” challenge of Alexis Mac.
Sky Sports' Studio Pundits Jamie Carragher and Duncan Ferguson both agreed that Tarkowski should have been sent away, but he only got to see a yellow card.
Everton threatened to spoil the party while they grew in the first half, with Beto racing on goal before he hit the mail.
But Liverpool took the lead in the 57th minute through Jota and stuck at all three points to generate jubilant scenes at the last whistle when they move 12 points from Arsenal with eight more games to play.
