MANCHESTER UNITED fans fear the “biggest betrayal ever” after Alejandro Garnacho's agent was spotted at Stamford Bridge.
The Red Devils star has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with Chelsea a potential destination.
The Blues were taking on Wolves in the Premier League when his agent was spotted.
Garnacho's representative, Quique de Lucas, shared a video of the action from the match on his Instagram Story.
The short clip showed his view of the pitch and featured both Chelsea and Wolves badges superimposed over it.
Man United fans have reacted furiously to his presence, believing it could lead to Garnacho's transfer.
One wrote: “If he goes to Chelsea it will be the biggest betrayal ever.”
A second commented: “Glazers weren't that bad… Ineos are selling one of our best academy prospects to raise some cash.”
A third wrote: “I still can't believe we're going to push Garnacho away.”
A fourth said: “The writing is on the wall on this one for sure.”
Another said: “Not to Chelsea please.”
Chelsea reportedly see the Argentinian winger as an ideal replacement for Christopher Nkunku.
However, the Blues are not the only club keen to add the 20-year-old to their ranks.
Serie A giants Napoli are also interested in his signature, having sold Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG for £70 million.
It is claimed that the Naples team have submitted a bid of £42 million, with an asking price of £50 million.
The Red Devils are said to have lined up Lecce striker Patrick Dorgu as Garnacho's replacement if he leaves this month.
There have been some concerns over Garnacho's departure, with Chelsea and Napoli both seeking reassurance over his attitude.
Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand has claimed that the three players the club should get rid of are Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Marcus Rashford.
