Santos fans were shocked by Neymar's poor performance since the return to his boys' club in January.
The Brazilian arrived in the Urbano Caldeira Stadium after the termination of his £ 130 million a year with Al-Hilal.
The 33-year-old winger made only seven performances and scored one goal during his one and a half season on the Saudi Pro League side due to an ACL injury.
To regain his top form, Neymar returned to his boys' club, where he played until 2013 for his move to Barcelona.
Despite a promising transfer of one of the club's legends, Santos fans remained disappointed by a poor performance by the Brazilian in his first games since the long -awaited return.
In addition, in his first start, the winger lost 24 balls in more than a year between Santos and Novorizontino and only one successful dribble from his eight attempts on the field for 75 minutes.
Even his 79 percent of the successful passes were far from the standards he established during his time in Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazilian won four of the 16 ground matches and only one air duel.
In 2011, however, Neymar was a crucial player for Santos' Copa Libertadores Triumph, scored in the second stage of the final against Uruguayan Team Penarol.
After spending years in Europe and the Middle East, he returned emotionally to the B Club series with a six-month contract to regain its top form for the World Cup 2026.
Santos President Marcelo Teixeira was especially pleased to see Neymar in his team again.
On his social media channels he said: 'Welcome, our boy Ney! A boy from Vila (Belmiro, Santos' Stadium). Come back to be happy again with the white and black shirt. The Santos nation is waiting for you with open arms. '
After two disappointing versions, however, fans were beaten on social media Neymar.
One of them wrote: 'He should end his football career. He can't play anymore, “while someone else has been added:” Ney has nothing left. For sale'
Hintend on Neymar's contract with Al-Hilal, another added: “I hope he plays for free, I understand why they broke his contract in Saudi Arabia”
One wrote: 'It has been years since it is ready'
Last week, according to the Brazilian outlet news, Neymar commuted to training sessions via an adapted helicopter because the 33-year-old has still not bought a home in Santos.
The winger still has to buy a new mansion in Morro de Santa Terezinha, a prestigious area in Santos.
However, he currently travels about 500 km from his Mangaratiba, Rio de Janeiro Residence.
