Fans urge Kevin Holland to take his career seriously after career-saving win at UFC London

Fight fans remained more of one of the winners in the O2 Arena in London.

In the main event on March 22, Leon Edwards returns to the cage with the intention of making a statement against Sean Brady.

Before the former champion takes the walk, another welterweight matchup took place between two unique personalities on the Roster.

On the way to the fourth fight on the main map, a series of back-to-back entries, including the Guillotine choke of Chris Duncan, helped to determine the stage for the last few attacks of the evening.

Kevin Holland and Gunnar Nelson were given the task of following the emotional retirement of Molly McCann to try to choose the British fans back.

Kevin Holland returns to the win column by beating Gunnar Nelson at Welterweight

Kevin Holland and Gunnar Nelson cannot be different in terms of their personalities, fighting styles and recent activities in the Octagon.

Nelson van Iceland looked to take his first victory in more than two years, while Holland once made the walk in 2025 as a hunter known for his ruthless schedule and the benefits and disadvantages of this approach.

After having lost four of his last five on the way, March 22 could have been a career -legend outing for the American who had difficulty retaining consistency, to the annoyance of the fans.

As Michael Bisping said to 'trail blower' in the interview after the fight, we got to see a little bit of him during the three-round duration, including some bizarre gripping fairs.

At the end of the first round, Holland produced the determining moment of the fight when he dropped his opponent with a huge right hand before he followed some ruthless soil and pound that came incredibly close to the fight.

Nelson somehow survived the attack, but with questions about whether the referee should have come, it would always be difficult for 'Gunni' to recover.

Nelson had some success in the fight with an arm triangle attempt in the third round that seemed to be close by until Holland Blankk Blonk to let the civil servant know that he was doing well.

In the end, the late rally of the grab specialist was not enough to wave the fight, because Holland took one and two for a unanimous decision of 29-28.

Despite the fact that the 32-year-old won an important victory on his return to the Welterweight Division, many fans took advantage of this opportunity to talk about his career as a whole.

During his run in the UFC, Holland has shown that he can be a legitimate threat to 170 pounds, but his tendency to often fight about the two weight classes has hurt his progress, even if it has enabled him to stay one of the most active hunters on the Roster.

As a result, there will always be a big question mark that hangs over him about how good he could actually be if his mentality was more focused.

“Kevin Holland is pretty good if he actually tries it,” wrote one fan while the other had a simple solution to this problem. “UFC must forbid Kevin Holland to go to the middleweight”

Kevin Holland is not going to change quickly

Kevin Holland answers questions about taking his career more seriously since he arrived in the UFC and that is no different today.

Despite the fact that he did much better with welter weight compared to middleweight, “trail blower” said in his interview after the fight that he is still interested in the switch because it means he can fight more often.

Holland even admitted that the grasping issues that some believe he has, because he is fighting against larger opponents at 185 pounds, but this will not discourage him.

This is just the way he is and it will continue to frustrate fans when he does impressive versions as he did on March 22.
