Former France U21 International Nathanaël Mbuku (23) will return to L'Equipe with Ligue 2 Side Montpellier HSC according to L'Equipe, after he has a seasonal loan agreement from Bundesliga Outfit FC Augsburg has an option of € 1.8 million to buy.
The graduated Reims Academy spent the 2024-25 season on loan at the Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb, where he made 20 performances in all competitions and scored twice. That spell included two UEFA Champions League outings before Augsburg activated a back-back clause in his contract earlier this summer.
Now covered five times by Dr. Congo, twice since changing faith in the fall 2024, is expected that MBUKU adds the much -needed attacking depth to Zoumana Camara's team like MHSC strives for an immediate return to Ligue 1 after decrease.
